Goodness of God?

As Christians, God wants us to renew our minds everyday to the truths in His Word.

God has said in Hebrews 13:5 "I will never leave you or forsake you." God is always in our individual lives. He will never leave us or forsake.

Nothing will ever separate us from the "love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."

Romans 8:38-39 NIV

[38] For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, [39] neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

No matter how we FEEL, whether close to God or far away, He is right there with us always. We are always in His presence and He always loves us no matter what.

His unfailing love and compassion are new every morning. He is always faithful. He will never let us down. We can always trust and depend upon Him.

Lamentations 3:22-23 NIV

[22] Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. [23] They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.

He always protects us in this world:

Psalms 91:11 NIV

[11] For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways.

Psalms 91:14-16 NIV

[14] “Because he loves me,” says the Lord, “I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name. [15] He will call on me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him. [16] With long life I will satisfy him and show him my salvation.

We have the goodness of God and the mercy of God in this life right now. We will experience it now, everyday.

Psalms 27:13-14 NIV

[13] I remain confident of this: I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. [14] Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord.

Psalms 23:6 NKJV

[6] Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me All the days of my life; And I will dwell in the house of the Lord Forever.

God has a great future and a hope for each of our lives. So let's continue to seek God everyday. Build our relationship with Him everyday:

Jeremiah 29:11-13 NIV

[11] For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. [12] Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. [13] You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.

We never have to worry or be afraid about what we need in life.

Matthew 6:25-33 NIV

[25]  “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? [26] Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? [27] Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life? [28]  “And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. [29] Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. [30] If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith? [31] So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ [32] For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. [33] But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

There are countless passages that show the goodness of God that He gives to all His children. This is just a small example of how God loves us and takes care of us.

I hope this encourages you today. Refer to these often. Do not believe Satan's lies that we get attacked with, which are just the opposite of what God says in His Word.

Let these bring you comfort, joy, and peace as we live each day.

Note: Share this one with your friends and family!!!

Love you all,

Jeffrey Post
