Trust In God!!

We navigate our lives everyday in the busyness of society, culture, and our own personal circumstances and situations. We can be engulfed in the issues of life and it can seem overwhelming. Look at your life right now like an outsider looking in. See how busy you are? Sometimes we bring this on ourselves and sometimes it cannot be helped.

Whatever the case, when life and all it presents weighs your mind and schedule down, always turn to God and trust in Him.

Proverbs 3:5-6 NIV

[5] Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; [6] in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.

Do not "lean unto your own understanding," but trust in God. You don't have to figure it all out or have all the answers for everything, just trust that God is in control and He is overseeing your life.

Psalms 121:7-8 NIV

[7] The Lord will keep you from all harm— he will watch over your life; [8] the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.

As Christians, we "live by faith, not by sight." God wants us to solely trust in Him, depend upon Him for whatever life brings our way. He's our Heavenly Father, our Heavenly Parent. So just like a child depends solely on their parents for everything, our Heavenly Father wants us to solely depend upon Him for everything also. So we do this by faith, trusting God with every single aspect of our lives.

We live our lives interacting with Him. We talk to Him in prayer about everything. He answers us by the Holy Spirit within us, by the Word of God, and through other Christians. We learn this process over time and watch Him interact in our lives. He guides us, advises us, counsels us, strengthens us, comforts us, builds us up, and so many other things. Overtime, we learn through experience that we can truly trust in Him. He never lets us down.

No matter what life brings, He is the constant that never changes. He is our Father. He always loves us. He never leaves us. He is always in our lives. He is ready and willing to work in our lives. We just have to trust in Him, depend upon Him, and wait on Him to work in our lives.

David knew this personally when he said:

Psalms 121:1-8 NIV

[1] I lift up my eyes to the mountains— where does my help come from? [2] My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. [3] He will not let your foot slip— he who watches over you will not slumber; [4] indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. [5] The Lord watches over you— the Lord is your shade at your right hand; [6] the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night. [7] The Lord will keep you from all harm— he will watch over your life; [8] the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.

We see other passages that verify that we can trust in God:

Psalms 46:1 NIV

[1] God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.

Hebrews 13:5-6 NIV

[5] Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.” [6] So we say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?”

Psalms 34:17-22 NIV

[17] The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles. [18] The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. [19] The righteous person may have many troubles, but the Lord delivers him from them all; [20] he protects all his bones, not one of them will be broken. [21] Evil will slay the wicked; the foes of the righteous will be condemned. [22] The Lord will rescue his servants; no one who takes refuge in him will be condemned.

Romans 8:28 NIV

[28] And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.

Isaiah 41:9-10 NIV

[9] I took you from the ends of the earth, from its farthest corners I called you. I said, ‘You are my servant’; I have chosen you and have not rejected you. [10] So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

Joshua 1:9 NIV

[9] Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”

https://bible.com/bible/111/jos.1.9.NIV

See? With all these promises of God, we can trust in Him and depend upon Him and He will never let us down, because God does not change.

So we can solely trust in God for everything that encompasses and makes up our lives because He loves us. We don't have to be in control. We don't have to micromanage every little detail of our lives. We don't have to have all the answers. We don't have to think and reason out every little detail of our lives. Trust in God. Give everything over to Him in prayer and "He will direct your path."

We are never alone. He is always with us. Solely depend upon Him from now on for everything. Let go of whatever life brings and trust God.

Love you all dear readers,
