Learning Stuff as Christians

 We are all on this journey together as the body of Christ. We can all learn from each other and from the Word of God.

I want to personally challenge everyone to always be learning as this will help us continue to be molded by the Word of God and by the Spirit inside us who teaches us all things.

The greatest things I have found in life are when I learn something new or the Holy Spirit reveals something to me that I didn't know before.

Always be learning. Always be growing. Never get "too big for your britches" as we say in the South. Don't be the person that nobody can tell them anything because they think they already know it all. That is pride at its worst. I find life is so much sweeter when we humble ourselves and keep learning. 

The Bible speaks of this and I refer to this passage in my mind all the time:

 1 Corinthians 8:2 NIV [2] Those who think they know something do not yet know as they ought to know. 

If any of us think we know something, then we become prideful and can't be told anything. Thus, we do not yet know as we ought to know.

Tuck that verse away and let it always broaden your horizons. Let us all continually learn and expand and grow in our Christian life.
