As we live everyday as God's children, what's the one question we can ask anyone at any given time that might possibly change their eternal destiny forever? What's the most important, life changing question we could ask at any moment? What's the greatest question we could ever ask?
"Are you saved?"
People will give all kinds of responses from this one question:
"Saved from what?"
"What is 'saved?'"
"Yes I am."
"I didn't know I needed saving."
"None of your business."
"You don't know me. Don't ask me any questions."
"Mind your own business."
The list can go on and on.
However, if we get something like the first two questions, then the Holy Spirit can guide us with what to say so that they can be saved. Rely on the Holy Spirit inside you to speak through you.
You might think at this point, "Jeff I don't know enough about the Bible to do that." Or "I couldn't ask someone that. What if they make fun of me or chew me out? Or want to get into a big argument? What if they jump down my throat?"
None of that matters. We want people to go to heaven!! Everyone deserves the right to be saved and how can they be saved if we don't ask that question?
Ask the question and let the chips fall where they may. The Holy Spirit will speak through you. So don't be afraid. He'll give you what to say at that time. It will shock you and them when it's all said and done. You'll think, "how in the world did I do that?" The Holy Spirit is amazing at doing this through us. I've experienced this before. It's so cool.
So, when you have the opportunity, ask that question to whoever and see where the conversation goes. We want all people to be saved and go to heaven!! Jesus Christ died and was raised from the dead so that all people could be saved!!
