Believe When You Pray!

 As we are solely dependent on God for everything, ask for anything and everything when we pray.

Philippians 4:19 KJV [19] But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

Look at what Jesus said about it:

Luke 11:10 NIV [10] For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.

Mark 11:23-24 NIV [23] “Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them. [24] Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. (*focus on verse 24)

Matthew 21:22 NIV [22] If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.”

Now, with that in mind, don't think, rationalize, debate, or argue about this. Just do it confidently!! Don't "lean unto your own understanding:

Proverbs 3:5 NIV [5] Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;

Trust God at His word, which is faith, and ask God when you pray:

James 4:2b. NIV [2]...You do not have because you do not ask God.

However, whatever you ask for, ask with the right motives!!! James warns us about this:

James 4:1-3 NIV [1] What causes fights and quarrels among you? Don’t they come from your desires that battle within you? [2] You desire but do not have, so you kill. You covet but you cannot get what you want, so you quarrel and fight. You do not have because you do not ask God. [3] When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures.

Do it the right way, for the right reasons, and it will be given to you. DO NOT limit God from working in your life. "Believe you have received it and it will be yours."
