It's Not Hard

Satan tries to make you think being a Christian is hard. You are added to the family of God. You are God's child now. When you were in your earthly family, was it hard to be a member of your family? No. You just were and still am. It's not hard being in God's family so don't believe those lies.

God has given us everything we need to be in His family, through Jesus "the author and perfecter of our faith.." (Heb. 12:2a.) Through Jesus Christ, by His Spirit, the Holy Spirit, we have everything inside our spirit to live a godly life. We have everything we need to overcome the world and the corruption it lives under.

2 Peter 1:3-4 NIV

[3] His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness. [4] Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature, having escaped the corruption in the world caused by evil desires.

So, it's not hard. We are in God's family. We have everything we need from Him through Jesus, by the Holy Spirit inside us. Follow the Spirit's leading in your mind and it will not seem hard. It's not hard. It's awesome.
